Members of Dark Sky served as Supervising Producer and Directors of the live broadcast, as well as Agency Digital Lead for the large-scale communications campaign surrounding the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.
Our involvement spanned every facet of the initiative, from the ground up. We led the development of core messaging that shaped how the event was communicated to the public, crafted safety messaging to ensure audiences could experience the eclipse responsibly, and designed and executed in-person engagement strategies that brought communities together across the path of totality.
Behind the scenes, our team drove the full logistics operation, authored scripting for the broadcast, and oversaw end-to-end production of the live event — ensuring every element, from the first planning meeting to the final frame of the broadcast, reflected a cohesive and compelling vision.
